In my pastoral experience I have found that, at the church level, operating on the status quo of church management results in less than adequate achievement of stated organizational goals. The church ought to adopt strategic alternatives that will propel it to the accomplishment of its goals. Quality leadership is essential for the realization of such objective.  I have found that the organization of departmental clusters has proven to be effective. In this model, an elder is placed to lead a cluster of departments provide support, counsel, and leadership to each head of department, thus, making them more efficient and effective. The preparation of the research instrument, for validation by academic experts, and ultimately the research questionnaire has proven to be a rewarding and inspirational experience. This experience, in part, has laid the foundation for the realization of my dream to become a researcher.
