The time has come for the church to recognize the value of business principles and strategies to help it with the efficient and effective management of the organization in the fulfillment of its mission. The church needs men and women who are trained in business at the highest levels of leadership. If we want to enhance our influence, both internally and externally, we need to review our negotiating and decision-making processes with a view of identifying the flaws within the system and develop frameworks for making sound decision, and create a mechanism to monitor, improve, and implement negotiation skills. Cultural diversity is an essential element in doing business today. Rather than see diversity as a threat, we should see it as an asset and embrace it.
